Are you wondering about the faux fur trend and whether or not you can pull it off? I am here to tell you….YES, YES you can! I am going to show you how you can wear a faux fur jacket both casually and for a night out.
First, let’s talk about how to wear fur during the day . I love denim, so it just seems natural to pair fur and denim together for a casual style. I also like the idea of layers which is why I decided to wear a bodysuit, denim shirt, high waisted jeans, and then topped the look off with this unique cropped jacket seen below in the first set of pics.
This fun jacket is an unexpected color choice which is why I chose it. I don’t own any purple jackets, so why not right….and want to know a secret, this jacket is probably 4 years old and I have only worn it one time because I thought it was only appropriate for evening events. Nope, not true….I’ve decided its time to wear my fur day and night!!
The gray coat seen above I found at Target (still available) and fell in love with the extra soft feel and casual style. I love how easily it pairs with my distressed denim. This coat has pockets too, so that’s a plus since I’m always holding onto kids’ stuff!
Next, let’s take a peek at how I styled this leopard print faux fur jacket for evening. I decided to wear this jacket with a black lace skirt and black bodysuit so the jacket is the center of attention. I finished the look with gold-tone accessories and a large belt to accentuate my waist.

This leopard faux fur is from Macys, (INC line), last year’s collection, but there are so many stores that are carrying affordable fur right now so it will be easy to find one that suits your personal style. H&M, Zara, Target, and Forever 21 are perfect stores to begin your search!
