HIGHer Rise Denim

We’ve all heard of high rise, mom jeans, or high waist denim, but how about SUPER high rise? I was skeptical at first, but with just the right amount of stretch and distressing I am now a fan. My go-to store for these extra high rise jeans is American Eagle. They currently have 4 washes in this style and I love them all of course! They seem to hold their shape well after a few wears and their back pockets are placed perfectly to accentuate the bum too! I have been wearing mine with bodysuits, but I love the look of a cropped sweater for that perfect 90’s vibe as well.

(my cute bodysuit seen above is also from American Eagle, and these cute backless booties are from Target). The rise in these jeans are super high as you can see, but seriously so comfortable! They have a 12″ rise in front and 15 1/4″ back rise. The jeans seen below are the same brand, same super high rise too, just more distressing.

Now, speaking of high rise, I thought I’d share a few of my other fave denim pieces that have a nice high rise to accentuate the waist with just the right amount of stretch to keep everything in its place ๐Ÿ™‚ Express, American Eagle, and Old Navy are my favorite stores to shop, but TopShop and Asos have also been on my radar.

Enjoy shopping friends, I hope you give high rise denim a chance, I think once you do you won’t be dissapointed!

Love, Nicole
